Our range of services intended for older vehicles

We always recommend following the Honda service schedule to get the best from your car – whatever its age. However, once your car turns three, and is no longer protected by its manufacturer’s warranty or an extended warranty, we can offer a choice of value services.

We realise that owners of older Honda cars need different support from drivers of the latest models. While our value services are not as comprehensive as the full Honda scheduled services, they offer an impressive range of checks at a low price.

You can book an MOT appointment Monday to Friday and Saturday Mornings.

All cars 3 years old and over require a valid MOT certificate by law. The contents and standards required are set by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA).

You need not wait until the last minute to arrange an MOT. A test can be carried out up to one month prior to the MOT due date. On passing the MOT test, the new certificate will run from the date of the test to one year after the expiry date of the current certificate. For example, if the current certificate was due to expire on 1 April 2008, and the vehicle was presented on 2 March 2008, the new certificate would run from the test date until 1 April 2009.

The same arrangement also applies when a vehicle is due its first MOT test. In this case, the vehicle registration document would be required to be presented.

If the vehicle is tested earlier than one month before its due date, the MOT will only run for twelve months

Honda Happiness is available at an extra cost at the time of purchasing your vehicle. This provides a very cost effective method of budgeting for your future servicing needs. For example, the servicing costs of a Honda FR-V over 5 years would normally cost in the region of £958, but you can purchase this for just £540 inc VAT. Honda Happiness applies to Petrol Engines: Honda '09 Accord, Honda Civic 5 door/ Civic Type R/ Civic Type S/ FR-V/ Civic Hybrid / CR-V.  Happiness is also available for Diesel Models- phone for details. This stays with the vehicle and is a selling feature, as it is owner transferable if you decide to upgrade to a new model prior to the 5 year servicing date.

Fixed Price Servicing is available for vehicles 3 years and older, covering Level 1 and Level 2 services.  This is a very cost effective way of affording to keep your vehicle in good working order even as it gets older.  The added benefit is that the customer knows the cost of the service prior to the work being carried out and has been highly subsidised.

A Fixed Price Repairs menu is show below, and shows the set cost for to replace any wear and tear item, such as battery, exhaust, brake pads, wipers, etc.
